Karlene Grant has been working as a social worker/family therapist for approximately 26 years and is registered with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, in good standing.

Karlene Grant operates her own private practice, the Ontario Enrichment Counselling Centre. She works with adults, children, youth, and families from all walks of life, specializing in helping individuals discover themselves and supporting them in making changes to improve their relationships, lives, and mental health. Karlene assists individuals and couples in finding effective communication strategies, supporting each other, and building successful relationships. 

As a trained Family Professional in Collaborative Practice, Karlene is skilled in a legal approach that focuses on resolving family law issues, such as separation and divorce, without going to court. Collaborative Practice involves a team of professionals, including lawyers, financial specialists, and mental health experts, who work together with the family to reach mutually agreeable solutions. This approach emphasizes open communication, cooperation, and respect, aiming to reduce conflict and support the well-being of all family members. She also prepares parenting plans, conducts reunification therapy and Voice of the Child reports. 

Karlene is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Crisis Intervention, and Trauma, among other modalities.
